Ms Gladys Nkutha (principal), Sister Fikile Vilakazi (quality assurance officer), Sister Malefo Moloi, Ms Nrateng Lephoto, Mr Bheki Mkhaliphi, Ms Phindile Mbatha, Sister Thandi Mbokani and Ms Motshidisi Mofokeng with the children on 4 August.

The staff members of Standerton TB Hospital in Sakhile donated scarves to learners of Inkazimulo School for the Disabled on 4 August.

The community and staff members joined forces to knit scarves for its patients to celebrate Mandela Day.

The initiative was so successful that the staff were able to share with the learners at the Atec Centre.

“Giving should never be a one day event, but rather a lifestyle,” Ms Thandi Mbokani of the hospital said.

Ms Gladys Nkutha, school principal, reminded the children to always be thankful.
