Lekwa Municipality began repairing a leaking pipe responsible for a pothole in Nelson Mandela Drive, Meyerville on 2 October.
This came after a driver swerved and collided with Ms Grobler’s vehicle which also left Mr Henk Swanepoel injured.
According to the municipal workers, the pothole is expected to be fixed on 3 October.
Some residents have already spoken out about the shoddy job done by the municipality in fixing the pothole.
The Standerton Advertiser inspected yesterday at about 4.45pm and found that it was not sufficiently leveled, but it remains to be seen whether they will continue patching up and levelling the road today.
